We are trying to design the development, testing and production enviroments for OAS 10.1.3.1. Mainly are going to be developed web services with JDeveloper. Is there any paper, documentation, about methodology and topologies for development and deployment scenarios. Best practices?, considering security, and multiple developers.
I know it depends on available hardware, disk, network, application feautures, etc... but we look for recommended architectures and methodologies (consideration for development environments, deployment method, maintenance..)...

For example This architecture is OK :

1.- One server for development with an instance of OAS and access to DB

2.- One server for production, with OAS, and HTTP Server and access to DB.

3.- Deployments not directly from Jdeveloper but from EAR files..

If we have just one server, could we have standalone OC4J instances for each developer and production server as described .??

Thanks in advance for your help and comments...

JPP.
