Does any one have an example of poor sql accessing three or more tables and the same sql correctly optimised. what I am trying to do is compare rule vs cost vs own tuning optimisation. I am going to use poorly written sql, parse it through cost and rule based optimisation and see if it can out perform optimised sql statements.
