The after has to be there since I'm updating numbers that are 0 in the table. I didn't think
you needed to do a commit from a trigger.
I always commit after I do the insert and the number that is in the table (ie 40) doesn't match
what the current value says in the OEM.
Clueless!

dear amy,
as you mentioned you use commit with a trigger,this is a wrong syntax.
